Polynesian, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Port Orleans Riverside....arrgghhhh... this has been the hardest decision to make. We've changed our mind so many times but have finally, FINALLY settled on Yacht Club.

Polynesian was always going to be the one for us when Josh and Jack were young. We first stayed there in 2013 when they were 10 and 5 and then in 2015 and 2017.

If the original plan had stood and we were going in 2019 (or 2020) it would have been a no-brainer, Polynesian all the way but at their current ages we think it's time for a change.

Jack doesn't agree at the moment, he likes to stick to what he knows and he's a bit unsure but Yacht Club (along with it's sister hotel, The Beach Club) have the best pool on Disney property. The Polynesian pool is tiny and if you wanted a rare chilling day at the pool it was always crowded. Fine with smaller kids but now I think we need something bigger.

Added to that, this resort is within walking distance of 2 parks (EPCOT and Hollywood Studios) so that in itself is going to be really convenient thing to have.

For the first time in 30+ years we won't have a rental car. On the last trip we paid £500 for 3 weeks car hire, this year it would be £2,500 🤯 So again, this is a good location for getting around using either Disney transportation, walking or Uber/Lyft. I'm actually looking forward to that, it'll be a nice change and for 75% of the time to car was just parked up anyway!
