Day 11 (Sunday 18th)
"Computer Woes & Mammoth Storms"

Well, today started with us having to be at The Apple Store at Florida Mall to book in my laptop for a repair. I thought it would take an hour or so but because of the diagnostics they ran, it needed to be checked further so I had to leave it for 24 hours. I was hoping it was a faulty battery but the Apple employee said it could also possibly be the logic board that needed replacing. A new battery would be $129....a logic board replacement could be up to $600. YIKES!
While we were there we got some new school shoes for Josh from Junior Foot Locker and grabbed a Subway and Salad in the food court (the boys were slightly more adventurous with teranyaki chicken). We just need a break from all this rich food we've been eating so a turkey sandwich (me) and chicken salad (Joanne) hit the spot perfectly.
Much of the rest of today was spent playing pool games with the Disney entertainments staff. They really took to Josh and Jack and the boys had a fab time just having fun in the water and doing all the fun activities they have here every day.
It was extra magic hours at Magic Kingdom so we showered and took the monorail into there. Before we even got there the heavens were beginning to open and lightning was flashing in the distance. We managed to get to Tomorrowland before a HUGE storm began and took shelter in Cosmic Rays. After about 45 minutes it started to subside but we figured it was going to be a pretty wet and miserable night so decided to turn in for the night.
As we walked past our deserted pool we could see over at Cinderella Castle that Wishes had begun (at 10:25pm) so we stood and watched that on the beach with no one else around. The music from the fireworks is also piped through speakers at our hotel.
A perfect end to day 11.
