This morning we ate by the pool and then had 40 minutes swimming and riding the slide. We’re all going to miss this hotel so much.  A nice finishing touch was BOTH Josh and Jack opening the pool slide. Great memory, great photo.

After packing our cases and loading them into the car it was time to get to the airport and catch our flight to Philadelphia.

I’m sat on the plane from Philadelphia to Manchester right now. It’s midnight (eastern USA time) and 5am in the UK. I guess we have about 3.5 hours flying time left so it’s been the perfect opportunity to get this blog finished off.

To my right is Joanne and Jack, both fast asleep. To my left is Josh, watching the last 15 minutes of The Fantastic Four.  He’s probably going to grab some sleep too after that.

I think I’d definitely choose to fly with US Airways over Virgin again. Our bags have been checked right through to Manchester and after a 2 hour flight from Orlando to Philadelphia we only have a 6 hour 15 minutes journey to Manchester.  It’s not, of course, the flight time that’s the problem, it’s the time difference and jetlag. I can’t sleep on a flight at all and by the time we land it will be 3:30am my body clock time and it’s then time to drive from Manchester to Leeds. It’s a tough trip but it’s DEFINITELY been worth it.

Apart from a slight mishap this morning where it looks like Joanne might have broken a toe or fractured her foot (time will tell on that one) it’s been the perfect trip. We have totally been spoilt by staying at The Polynesian though, I can’t imagine ever wanting to stay at another Disney hotel on future trips.

And that pretty much wraps up this little blog. I’ll add one more post with a selection of our Photopass+ photos during the week  but all that’s left to say is….
