Day 13 (Tuesday 20th)
"Cirque Du Soleil"
HURRAY!!!! A relaxing day loomed :-)
We spent pretty much most of the day sat by the pool or on the Polynesian Beach. The boys enjoying the slide and the pool games and Joanne and I just catching our breath. The pool games extended to the beach with a sandcastle contest so while the boys did that we sat on a swing looking out over Seven Seas Lagoon drinking a couple of cocktails. A bargain at $22 for two. Gotta love them Disney prices :-)
At 5pm we got ready and headed to Downtown Disney West Side to see Cirque Du Soleil: La Nouba. None of us had ever seen a Cirque Du Soleil production but obviously we had seen and heard about it many times.
Jack cannot sit still during a movie at the cinema but he was absolutely riveted to the spot for the entire 90 minutes we were in the theatre. Josh was exactly the same and they were both transfixed by what was happening on stage. These performers were spellbinding and we can't wait to go see another production which will be in Leeds in October. Can't wait.
There are no photos as cameras were not allowed.
And that's pretty much the end of this blog item. After the show we decided to get the monorail into EPCOT to ride Test Track and grab some food then it was home to bed.
A very relaxing day....
