Despicable Me 3

We love the cinema experience over here so always try to hold back seeing any movies we want to see before we get here. This year it's Despicable Me 3 and Cars 3. We choose Gru over Lightning McQueen today and head to Disney Springs to the AMC 24 screens.

We grab the tickets but first walk over to the other side of Disney Springs to the Earl Of Sandwich. This is a great value (by Disney standards) eatery featuring (funnily enough) custom made sandwiches. We all make perfect choices (impossible not to here) and head back over to the cinema.

Great cinema snacks, free refills (come on UK, sort it out!), huge screen and great movie. A good way to spend a couple of hours out of the intense Orlando early afternoon sun.

A quick drive over to the designer outlet (MORE Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren for the eldest.....we are going to have to keep an eye on this one and his expensive tastes), food court dinner and it's then back to the pool for the evening. We needed a 'non theme park' day after yesterday and this is the perfect end for today. I can't remember what time we got to bed, the pool officially closes at 11pm and you need your magicband to access it but as long as you are inside the gate before 11pm no one rushes you to leave even after the lifeguards have left for the day.

It's perfect here, it really is. None of us want this holiday to end.
