Fantasmic!

I think we've been neglecting Hollywood Studios a little (a bit like i've been neglecting this blog ;-)

Time is rushing along at breakneck speed now and although I want to sit down for 30 minutes a day to tap this out we're either too busy or too knackered. I really don't think we've been to bed before midnight on any day of this trip. There really aren't enough hours in the day here!

Day 17 was a nice chilled affair. No breakfast today as we were having a late lunch/early dinner as part of the Fantasmic! Dining Package. With this, you get to dine in one of three restaurants and then get reserved seating for the nighttime fireworks show. A little expensive for the meal we had at Mama Melrose but turned out well as the section we were seated in the evening was perfect. Probably wouldn't do it again but it was a nice experience.

After we'd eaten we spent the rest of the day riding our favourites:

Toy Story Mania (I THRASHED Josh twice....no giving anyone an easy ride with the score system on this one ;-)
MuppetVision 4D (an oldie but (to me) a goodie))
Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror x 3
Rock n Roller Coaster

In between all that (and to hide from the rain a little) we headed to Starring Rolls and Starbucks. My first Carrot Cake Cookie Sandwich of the trip. A MASSIVE, moist carrot cake (more cake than cookie) which Jack and myself polished off in no time. It's delicious but REALLY sickly. That will be the one and only one this year.

Then it was time for Fantasmic!. I always struggle to get decent photos of this. I've got a couple of half decent ones but it was raining pretty much through the whole performance. It's a great show though and a perfect end to the day.

A nice 1 hour lounge around the pool and a quick ball game in it for us four and then it's bedtime again. Like I say, the days are just not long enough. We could do with an extra, say, 24 hours in every day..... ;-)

Absolutely loving this trip. It really has been perfect this time around. Much better weather than 2015, a LOT less thunderstorms and although it might not seem it from the blog, it's very chilled out.

More soon.....i'm jotting quick notes for every day so I won't be missing anything out....just need the time to put it together.
